Payment for all orders is under the control of Etsy and is made via electronic payment.

Processing time - Most of my listings are ready for shipping within 24-48 hours but please check the details – I will clearly mark any items that need to be ordered and show an approximate time frame to process that order. Please bear in mind that there is only me making all these so special orders can take a while!

Special order cancellations
I cannot accept cancellation of any special or custom orders.

I am happy to ship all items worldwide. The prices I have quoted for shipping one or multiple items will cover all shipping costs. Because of the way in which Etsy charges for each extra item, in some cases the shipping will be overpaid and I always refund an overpayment once I have sent the item(s) to you.

Shipping within the UK will be via Royal Mail 1st class post and at the appropriate rate for the value of the items you have purchased in order that the parcel has adequate insurance to cover it's value. Higher value items will be sent via either "Signed For 1st Class" or "Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm Next Day". I will notify in a listing if the item is for a signed delivery. If a signed delivery is not suitable for you I will send by ordinary post but this will be at your own risk.

Shipping overseas ie. outside the UK, will be via normal international postage rates unless, as per postage within the UK, an item has a higher value, when it will be sent via a suitably insured method unless you state otherwise and accept the associated risks.

I always obtain a proof of posting but this sometimes only covers a package to the UK border and does not provide very much in the way of insurance.

In order to comply with the new EU requirements for a compliant privacy policy under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force from 25 May 2018 I am required to set out a policy regarding any information I have access to regarding my customers – please see this policy below. Please also note that, other than writing your name and address on a package in order to send to you what you have purchased, I do not share any personal information, or store such information in any format separate to that stored by Etsy.

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you are purchasing. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (eg. for a custom order) if you contact me via Etsy.

Third Party Sharing - Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
• Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
• Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
• Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

Data Retention - I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. Your information is kept only on the Etsy system and not separately on my computer so I have no control over the length of time your data is stored.
